Early Engineering
Early Engineering represents the project's initiation phase, characterised by conceptualisation, feasibility assessments, and preliminary schematic design. During this stage, Mincore’s Project Managers, Engineers and Technical experts engage in ideation and preliminary research, identifying potential challenges and exploring initial design concepts. Early Engineering is instrumental in setting the project's objectives, scope and budgetary estimates, providing a critical foundation for subsequent phases. Detailed Engineering
Detailed Engineering constitutes the phase where engineering plans evolve into comprehensive technical specifications and detailed construction documents. This stage involves the creation of precise engineering drawings, intricate technical calculations and exhaustive materials and equipment specifications. Mincore’s Project Managers, Engineers and Technical experts collaborate closely with all project stakeholders to ensure that the project adheres to the client's vision and complies with relevant industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Mincore’s rigorous attention to detail is paramount in ensuring that all issues are reviewed and risk assessed to ensure minimal rework during project execution.
3D Modelling
Mincore’s designers and drafters are experts in the use of 3D Modelling systems for Materials handling, Piping, Architectural, Civil and Structural and Mechanical Design. Mincore’s design systems interface seamlessly with other systems used by our Partners, Vendor and Engineering Contractors, ensuring an effective and collaborative design process. The team is highly skilled and capable of producing sophisticated detailed intelligent models, 2D Design and detail drawings. Engineers and clients alike benefit from 3D models, using them to visualize intricate project details, anticipate potential challenges, construction and operability issues and make informed decisions. Simulations
Mincore’s Engineers, Designers, Partners and 3rd party Consultants undertake complex simulations including Material flow and Construction simulations to optimise design and construction sequencing. Computational simulations allow Mincore’s engineers to assess performance, analyse complex scenarios and conduct sensitivity analyses. By simulating real-world conditions, Mincore’s engineers can identify vulnerabilities, optimise designs and reduce risk factors before construction commences.
Owners Engineering
Mincore’s Engineering team is highly experienced in providing Owners Engineering support to ensure our clients receive Project Deliverables from Vendors and Engineering Contractors in accordance with the Project Brief. Mincore’s Engineers ensure that our clients receive compliant designs and equipment that meets specifications and code requirements. We assume an advocacy role, overseeing project execution to ensure alignment with our client's goals and values, budget constraints and quality benchmarks.
